The Professional Skills for Baking course is tailored for those aspiring to become professional bakers or pastry chefs. This course covers the fundamental techniques of baking, including dough preparation, cake making, and pastry production. Students will learn the science behind baking, with an emphasis on understanding how different ingredients and methods affect the final product.


In addition to baking techniques, the course teaches students about kitchen safety, hygiene practices, and the use of baking equipment. Creativity is encouraged through the design and decoration of baked goods, with a focus on presentation and flavor. Students will gain practical experience in producing a variety of baked items, preparing them for careers in professional kitchens, bakeries, or patisseries. 

Graduates with professional baking skills can pursue careers as pastry chefs, bakery owners, or product developers in the baking industry. Opportunities also exist in food styling, baking consultancy, or teaching baking and pastry arts in culinary schools. With a focus on creativity, some graduates may even write cookbooks or host baking shows.

This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of baking for aspiring pastry chefs. Students will:

1)  Professional Training and Education Programs

  • Physical Classes: Three days a week, students attend hands-on training in our state of-the-art mock-up rooms for housekeeping and our mock-up restaurant for F&B service.
  • Online Classes: Two days a week, students engage in interactive online learning, covering essential theoretical knowledge.

  • Expert Speakers: We host guest lectures from industry professionals, ranging from interns to heads of departments, providing valuable insights and networking opportunities.
