The Front Office Operations and Management course prepares students for key roles in managing the front office of hotels and other hospitality establishments. This course covers the full spectrum of front office responsibilities, from managing reservations and guest check-ins to handling customer inquiries and complaints.

Students will learn about the importance of effective communication and interpersonal skills in creating a welcoming environment for guests. The course also includes training in revenue management, providing students with strategies to maximize occupancy and profitability. Problem-solving and emergency management are critical components of the curriculum, equipping students with the skills needed to handle unexpected situations professionally. Practical experience is gained through internships and industry placements, where students can apply their learning in a real-world context.  

Graduates of the Front Office Operations and Management program can pursue careers in hotel and resort front offices, guest relations, or concierge services. Beyond traditional roles, there are opportunities in hospitality technology firms, front office consultancy, or customer service training. Some graduates may also find fulfillment in academic roles, sharing their expertise with aspiring front office professionals.

This course is designed to equip students with the skills needed to manage front office operations in a hospitality setting. Students will:

  • Learn the fundamentals of front office management, including reservations, check in/check-out, and guest relations.
  • Understand the importance of communication and interpersonal skills in enhancing guest experiences.
  • Study revenue management and strategies for maximizing occupancy and profitability.
  • Develop skills in problem-solving, handling guest complaints, and managing emergency situations.
  • Gain practical experience in front office operations through internships and industry placements. 

1)  Professional Training and Education Programs

  • Physical Classes: Three days a week, students attend hands-on training in our state of-the-art mock-up rooms for housekeeping and our mock-up restaurant for F&B service.
  • Online Classes: Two days a week, students engage in interactive online learning, covering essential theoretical knowledge.

  • Expert Speakers: We host guest lectures from industry professionals, ranging from interns to heads of departments, providing valuable insights and networking opportunities.
